Clashes broke out anew on Tuesday between the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and Palestinian youths in Beit Furik town to the east of Nablus city.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that the confrontations took place in Jabal al-Quneitra area west of the town where the IOF soldiers heavily fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters at the youths.
Beit Furik witnesses daily clashes between its residents and the IOF mostly in the southern area of the town despite the Israeli threats to pursue a collective punishment policy against the entire town.
Clashes have escalated lately following the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on 6th December a decision that was met with widespread Arab and international condemnation.
