Lebanon’s Hezbollah has strongly denounced the US veto on a UN Security Council (SC) resolution calling on president Donald Trump to revoke his recognition of Occupied Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
A statement released by Hezbollah on Tuesday described the move as a slap in the face of the whole world and a reflection of the US administrations’ biased positions.
Hezbollah called on the Arab and Muslim nations and the world’s free people to escalate their protests against Trump’s move.
It also called on the international community not to yield to the US diktats and urged the Palestinians to continue their blessed intifada (uprising).
