Senior Hamas official and spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri has applauded the civil servants who worked at the Gaza border crossings for their great role and dedicated work over the past 11 years.
“I salute the employees of the Gaza crossings for serving their people for 11 years and accepted the recent arrangements despite some remarks about them for their own people’s good” Abu Zuhri stated on his Twitter page on Wednesday.
The Palestinian government officially took control of the Gaza border crossings on Wednesday morning.
