A series of meetings is slated to be held by Fatah Movement to discuss the progress of national reconciliation.
Fatah leader Majed al-Fetyani said the movement’s Central Committee will convene at noontime Thursday in Ramallah to discuss the reconciliation file.
The meeting is expected to be chaired by the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas who is also Fatah leader.
Another meeting by the group’s Revolutionary Council will reportedly take place in the evening.
The meetings come shortly before bilateral talks with Hamas are expected to be kick off in Cairo next week so as to seek ways to implement agreed upon reconciliation agreements.
