Palestinian prisoner Mohammed Allan suspended his open-ended hunger strike after the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) pledged to meet his demands.
Allan’s father said his son accepted to end his hunger strike after IPS promised to cancel a prison-term against him and restore his right to a court trial in the presence of his lawyer Jawad Boulos.
Allan is expected to attend the next court hearing so as to defend himself against charges of incitement on Facebook.
The father added that his son denied all the Israeli accusation.
Allan will reportedly be transferred from Ramla prison clinic to Megiddo jail pending his trial.
33-year-old Allan a native of Nablus province was kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces from his family home on June 8 2017.
