Clashes erupt following solidarity march with prisoners west of Nablus

Violent clashes erupted on Tuesday afternoon with Israeli occupation forces following a peaceful march that kicked off west of Nablus city in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners.

Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that dozens of Palestinians participated in the solidarity march that roamed the streets of Deir Sharaf town west of Nablus and headed to al-Tanib military barrier on Nablus-Tulkarem road.

IOF soldiers clashed with participants and intensively fired tear gas grenades at them.

The Israeli forces also assaulted and arrested head of Burqah village council Sami Daghlas 58 as he was taking part in the peaceful march. He was taken to Huwara military camp south of Nablus city. Journalist Jaafar Eshtayeh was also detained for a few hours.
