Palestinian factions on Thursday afternoon organized a human chain of children in Nablus city center as part of events of the solidarity week with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
Scores of Palestinians including families of captives along with over 500 children participated in the solidarity event. The participants carried Palestinian flags and photos of prisoners and chanted pro-detainees slogans.
The coordinator of the event Mazen al-Denbek said the human chain aims at spreading the word of Palestinian families and children of prisoners in order to acquaint the world with their sufferings. So many children of prisoners have been for a long time deprived of seeing their fathers who are sentenced to life imprisonments.
