Hamas Movement asked the Arab Foreign Ministers convening in preparation for the Amman Summit to give priority to the issue of Occupied Jerusalem and the protection of al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said in a statement on Tuesday that working on ending Israeli occupation of Jerusalem is the biggest factor uniting the Arabs and Muslims.
Shifting to another issue Qasem said that the Israeli detention of guards of al-Aqsa Mosque is part of the Israeli violations against Muslims’ sacred shrines.
Qasem called on the Palestinians to escalate the Jerusalem Intifada and back it up by all means. He stressed that resistance is the real effective choice for the protection of the Palestinian people and holy places as well as their land.
