The Islamic Jihad leader Sheikh Khader Adnan said on Friday that the victory of the Palestinian captive Mohammad al-Qiq is a new blow to Israel’s illegal administrative detention.
In a press statement after journalist al-Qiq announced the suspension of his 33-day hunger strike after reaching a deal that stipulated his release on March 14 Adnan said “this victory proves the effectiveness of the hunger strike method”.
Sheikh Adnan who also mourned martyr Basel al-A’raj in his statement hailed Palestinian prisoners and thanked all of those who support the detainees.
