Member of Hamas’s political bureau Khalil al-Hayya has categorically denied that he was assigned to follow up the high government administrative committee in the Gaza Strip.
Hayya made his remarks to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) on the sidelines of a conference held on Wednesday in Gaza on the Palestinian woman’s role in protecting the national constants.
The Hamas official stated that all media reports about delegating him to follow up the committee was untrue and unfounded.
Talking about the Palestinian woman’s participation in the national struggle against the occupation he stressed the importance of her place in the Palestinian society and her great role in resisting the occupation alongside the man.
He paid tribute to all Palestinian women on the International Women’s Day calling them “the fulcrum of the just national cause.”
The Hamas official also highlighted the progress in relations between his Movement and Egypt affirming that there is keenness on promoting the relations with Cairo.
