Heavily-armed Israeli occupation troops have been deployed around Jenin province in the northern West Bank at daybreak Friday.
A PIC news correspondent said Israeli army patrols sealed off the Nazareth Street between Jenin and al-Jalama crossroads with a military checkpoint at the crack of dawn and subjected Palestinian workers to intensive questioning.
Other Israeli military squads showed up on the Jenin-Haifa thoroughfare near the main entrance of Rumana and Zabouba towns. A military checkpoint was set up in the area where Palestinian vehicles and passers-by have been subjected to exhaustive inspection.
The Israeli occupation forces further raked through Palestinian lands and olive groves located between al-Erka town and the access road to Shaked illegal settlement outpost.
