Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas affirmed its total rejection of Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s reported proposal on sending international forces to the Gaza Strip.
Abdulatif al-Qanou Hamas spokesman in Gaza said in a press statement on Tuesday that sending international forces to the Gaza Strip is a dangerous matter and it is totally rejected.
Radio Israel reported that Netanyahu made the proposal in a meeting he held with the Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop in Occupied Jerusalem.
Netanyahu suggested that the Israeli Army must take control of the West Bank and examine security alternatives in Gaza having international forces monitor the territory and deal with “the terrorism issues”.
