Hamas on Tuesday hailed Sheikh Raed Saleh the Head of the Islamic Movement in 1948 Occupied Palestine hours after he was released from an Israeli jail.
Hamas said in a statement Israel’s incarceration of Sheikh Salah is a sign of the futility of its schemes against the Palestinian land and holy sites particularly the holy al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.
The group applauded Salah’s freedom dubbing it another goal scored by the Muslim sit-inners and activists in Occupied Jerusalem and the al-Aqsa Mosque.
Hamas expressed wishes that Salah’s voice would forever speak up for Occupied Jerusalem and the al-Aqsa—Muslims’ third holiest site.
Sheikh Salah was released from an Israeli jail on Tuesday morning after he had served a nine-month prison-term.
