Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has sent its condolences to Iran over the death of former President of Iran Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
In a statement on Monday Hamas said Rafsanjani was supportive of the Palestinian cause in different stages and at various levels.
Fares Irani news agency revealed that Iran’s ex-president Rafsanjani a dominant figure in the country’s politics since 1980s has died at the age of 82 after he suffered a heart attack.
