At least 16 extremist Jewish settlers on Thursday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under police protection.

Local sources said that more groups of settlers could enter the Mosque and tour its courtyards in the morning and the afternoon.

Meanwhile the Israeli police at the entrances leading to the Mosque imposed entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers during the presence of settlers at the holy site.

The Israeli police allow Jewish settlers to enter and tour the Mosque every day except on Fridays and Saturdays.

Hordes of Jewish settlers on Thursday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under police escort.

The Islamic Waqf Authority in Occupied Jerusalem said that the Israeli police allowed 93 Jewish settlers to enter the Mosque and tour its courtyards for about four hours.

The Waqf Authority added that the settlers provocatively performed Talmudic prayers under police protection at the Islamic holy site whose Muslim guards intervened in an attempt to prevent them from doing so.

Meanwhile the Israeli police arrested one of the Aqsa guards as he was trying to enter the Mosque as usual in the morning and then released him on bail.

The guard Hamza al-Nabali was also banned from entering the Mosque for two weeks.

Local sources said that Israeli policemen had opened al-Maghariba Gate of the Mosque and patrolled its courtyards before allowing in the settlers.

Meanwhile the Israeli police imposed entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at other gates of the Mosque and prevented several women from going in.

Dozens of Jewish settlers on Thursday desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards in groups under tight police protection.

According to Quds Press 49 settlers entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards before leaving through as-Silsila Gate.

The Israeli occupation police allow settlers to defile the Mosque every day except on Fridays and Saturdays.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Hordes of Jewish settlers on Tuesday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under tight police protection which provoked angry reactions from the Muslim worshipers there.

The Israeli occupation police also restricted the entry of Palestinian young men and women to the Mosque and confiscated their ID cards before allowing them in.

Some women complained about preventing them from entering the Mosque at the pretext their names were on a police blacklist.

The police also intensified their presence in the alleys and streets of the Old City of Jerusalem and embarked on searching Palestinian stores and passersby.

In another incident Israeli undercover policemen kidnapped today morning three Palestinian children from Ras al-Amud district near the Aqsa Mosque.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the policemen kidnapped the boys after they stormed al-Madares neighborhood in Ras al-Amud and clashed with young men and school children from the area.
