Dozens of cameras are set to be installed by an Israeli high tech company around Jerusalem’s holy al-Aqsa Mosque in an attempt to tighten the noose around Muslim worshipers’ neck.
New cameras are reportedly about to be installed and others patched up around the Aqsa Mosque and near the gates of al-Maghareba al-Sahira and al-Asbat so as to provide a security shield for Israeli settlers during their break-ins at the site and tighten police grip on the Muslim worshipers.
High-quality surveillance tech is also being installed around Israeli settlement outposts built on Palestinian land across the occupied Palestinian territories in order to rein in anti-occupation protests and attacks.
