A Palestinian minor succumbed to his critical wounds on Tuesday evening after he was shot and injured with live ammunition fired by Israeli forces towards dozens of Palestinians who rallied near the border to the east of Deir al-Balah area in central Gaza Strip.
Israeli soldiers stationed along Gaza borders opened their live fire towards demonstrators as they allegedly approached the barbed-wire fence between Gaza and Israel shooting and injuring 17-year-old Montaser al-baz.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said al-Baz was pronounced dead just a few hours later.
At least seven protesters were left critically wounded as the Israeli military attacked peaceful protesters near al-Namer gate east of Deir al-Balah. They were rushed to al-Aqsa Hospital in Gaza for treatment.
