Two Palestinians were killed and dozens others injured when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at the Palestinians protesting near Gaza’s eastern border on the 20th Friday of the Great March of Return.
Gaza Ministry of Health said that Abdullah al-Qutati a paramedic and Ali al-Aloul were killed while about 307 Palestinians including five paramedics and two journalists suffered different injuries.
The PIC reporter said that a projectile fired by an Israeli tank landed in the courtyard of a Palestinian house east of al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip with no casualties reported.
Thousands of Palestinians on Friday afternoon marched along Gaza’s eastern border to take part in the activities of the 20th week of the Great March of Return.
According to the PIC reporter the IOF soldiers stationed at the border heavily fired live ammunition and teargas canisters at the peaceful protesters.
He added that groups of Palestinian youths burned dozens of car tires in a bid to block the view of Israeli snipers who were shooting at the protesters.
Since the start of the border protests in Gaza on 30th March 158 Palestinians have been killed and about 17000 injured.
