Haneyya: Hamas delegation will return to Cairo to resume talks

Head of Hamas’s Political Bureau Ismail Haneyya on Tuesday said that the Hamas delegation that arrived in Gaza last Thursday will return to Cairo carrying the movement’s clear vision on all the issues that have been discussed.

During a meeting held by Hamas movement under the title “Unity and Return” in the presence of representatives of Palestinian factions and other national notables in Gaza city Haneyya said that Hamas over the past five days discussed all recent developments related to the Palestinian cause.

Haneyya said that the delegation will return to Cairo to convey Hamas’s views on the reconciliation siege and truce with the Israeli occupation.

The movement also discussed the US Jerusalem move and Gaza’s Great March of Return he noted.

The Hamas leader said that alliances are being established with the aim of making Israel part of the region and criminalizing the Palestinian resistance.

He continued to say “In our meetings we touched on the talks with Cairo the United Nations and Qatar and we have come up with a number of decisions taking into account the Palestinian people’s interests.”

Haneyya stressed that the Palestinians need national unity now more than ever in view of the current circumstances and the conspiracies being plotted against their just cause.

Commenting on some Hamas leaders abroad visiting Gaza lately Haneyya said that this visit serves as an emphasis on the Palestinian refugees’ right of return.
