Israeli warplanes at dawn Saturday bombed several sites in the Gaza Strip prompting the Palestinian resistance to retaliate by firing a volley of projectiles at different Israeli targets.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that at least three air-to-surface missiles hit a resistance post east of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza with no reported casualties.
In northern Gaza two other airstrikes targeted two resistance posts causing only damage to several windows of homes near the bombed area.
A cultivated tract of land in Sufa area northeast of Rafah in southern Gaza also sustained damage in another airstrike.
A few minutes after the Israeli aerial attacks the Palestinian resistance responded by firing a number of projectiles at different settlements around the Gaza border.
