The Higher National Committee for Marches of Return has called on the Palestinian citizens in the besieged Gaza Strip to march en masse to border camps to participate in “the Friday of Honoring the Wounded.”
“In tribute to the wounded and in appreciation and honor of the sweat and blood they gave we call upon you to rally and participate extensively in ‘the Friday of Honoring the Wounded’” the committee said in a press release.
The committee affirmed that the “peaceful” March of Return rallies would continue to take place until the objectives they were organized for were fulfilled pointing out that the marches are aimed at protecting the Palestinian right of return breaking the blockade on Gaza and thwarting the US-backed deal of the century (the ultimate deal).
It urged the participants to carry pictures of Palestinian martyrs who were killed during previous rallies on the border to commemorate them.
The Friday rallies will begin on Friday afternoon and continue until 07:30 pm according to the committee.
