Israeli warplanes strike boats resistance post in Gaza

Israeli warplanes at dawn Wednesday bombed two boats at Gaza port and a resistance site in northern Gaza.

The PIC reporter said that Israeli drones fired three missiles at two boats set to take part in an international campaign to break the siege on Gaza.

He added that flames were seen coming from the bombed boats but no injuries were reported.

For his part spokesman for the National Committee to Break the Siege on Gaza Adham Abu Silmiya said that the Israeli repeated attacks on anti-siege boats are aimed at terrorizing Palestinians.

In a later development Israeli F16 warplanes fired several missiles at a resistance post belonging to al-Qassam Brigades in the northern Gaza Strip a local source reported.

Spokesman for the Israeli occupation army claimed in a statement that the army bombed an underground site and Hamas naval targets.

He said that the attacks came in response to the burning of an Israeli watchtower Tuesday east of Gaza and the daily launch of flaming kites to burn settler farmlands in the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories.
