A Palestinian detainee was transferred on Wednesday to an isolated cell in the Israeli Eshel jail allegedly after he poured hot water on an Israeli prison officer.
Israel’s Channel 10 claimed the prisoner is affiliated with Hamas Movement is a native of Occupied Jerusalem aged 53 and is serving 30 years is Israeli lock-ups where he has been held since 2014.
The Israeli prison officer sustained moderate injuries and was transferred to Soroka Hospital.
An investigation has been launched by the Israeli prison service to identify the reasons for the alleged attack.
