The Israeli prison service (IPS) transferred Palestinian detainee Abdullah Ramadan who suffers from a bullet injury from Shaare Zedek hospital to Ofer prison after he received treatment for about two weeks.
Ramadan was injured when Israeli soldiers ambushed and opened fire at him on March 26 in al-Deheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem and then rounded him up.
According a family source Ramadan was transferred to Ofer prison as a prelude to holding a court hearing for him soon.
Ramadan 28 is a prominent activist in the camp and was already jailed for four years. He also suffered from multiple bullet injuries during previous Israeli gunfire attacks.
