The Israeli military overnight Thursday closed off an access road leading to Palestinian towns and villages south of Nablus province in the northern occupied West Bank.
Head of Burin Village Council Yahya Kadous said Israeli military vehicles escorted by a bulldozer late on Thursday evening sealed off a thoroughfare connecting Palestinian communities in southern Nablus.
Kadous added that the Israeli occupation forces have refused to identify the reasons for the abrupt closure claiming it has been carried out on security accounts.
Israeli military troops continue to crack down on the Palestinian locals at the same time as assaults on Palestinian lands and property by Israeli extremist settlers have been on the rise.
