Dozens of Palestinians and representatives of media and official institutions on Sunday participated in a sit-in in solidarity with the Palestinian detainee journalist Baker Abdul Haq correspondent to Filistin TV. The solidarity event was held in Nablus city.
Nasser Jawabreh Office Manager of the Ministry of Information stressed in his speech at the sit-in the importance of exerting serious efforts for the release of journalist Abdul Haq along with other 30 journalists imprisoned in Israeli jails.
Israeli occupation forces arrested Abdul Haq at al-Karama crossing while returning from Cairo after receiving the Young Arab Award in the media field.
