Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday banned Palestinian farmers from tilling the soil of their farms located near the illegal settlement of Eli south of Nablus city in the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian female activist Muyassar Etayani told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers detained three of the farmers along with another three French solidarity activists after confiscating their cameras and passports.
The farmers headed for plowing their lands after coordination with the IOF allowing them to start tilling the soil of their farms from Sunday to Thursday. The soldiers however ignored the coordination matter and forced the farmers and the foreigners to leave the area at the pretext of being a closed military zone.
