Hundreds of pro-Palestine activists and civil society representatives rallied in Athens on Monday condemning Israel’s illegal settlement activity and the US biased position as regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The rally was staged by the Communist Youth of Greece and Greece Women’s Union.
The marchers flocked to the Israeli Embassy in Athens and held banners condemning US President Donald Trump’s decisions against Occupied Jerusalem.
The demonstrators also raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its eternal and undivided capital.
Shortly afterwards representatives of Greece Women’s Union rallied outside the Embassy of the State of Palestine in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and in support of Palestinians’ struggle for freedom and independence.
