The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening rolled into Jenin province and sealed off access roads with military checkpoints.
A PIC news correspondent said the Israeli military stormed Jenin’s western town of Zabouba and raked through residential neighborhoods before it pitched a series of checkpoints in the area.
Clashes burst out across Zabouba as the occupation patrols chased down Palestinian anti-occupation youth.
At the same time Israeli soldiers cracked down on Palestinians’ free movement on the Jenin-Nablus thoroughfare near the main entrance to Arraba town south of Jenin and subjected civilians to intensive search.
The Israeli forces further closed off the main access roads out of and into the area with makeshift roadblocks where drivers have been exhaustively inspected.
