Palestinian sources revealed that clashes erupted on Wednesday between Palestinian youths and Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and Jewish settlers in Madama and Beit Fourik towns near Nablus city in the northern West Bank.
Vice President of Madama’s Council Talat Ziyadeh said that a group of Jewish settlers of Yitzhar nearby settlement broke into al-Qadat area to the south of the town.
He told Quds Press that clashes broke out as IOF soldiers and settlers attempted to attack Palestinian’s properties. A number of the inhabitants suffered breathing problems as IOF soldiers fired tear gas canisters directly towards Palestinian homes.
Clashes also were reported in Beit Fourik town after the IOF raided Jabal al-Qadeh to the south of the town amid firing of tear gas grenades resulting in suffocation cases among the Palestinians.
