Dozens of Israeli soldiers stormed on Wednesday evening Palestinian homes in Jenin’s southern town of Yabad and seized surveillance cameras triggering tension in the area.
Palestinian anti-occupation youth responded to the assault by throwing a home-made grenade at a car belonging to an Israeli settler near Mabu Dotan settlement outpost built on Palestinian lands in Yabad.
The Israeli military closed off the main access road to Yabad with a makeshift checkpoint.
At the same time heavily-armed occupation troops raked through Palestinian neighborhoods between Qabatiya and al-Zababda towns east of Jenin. Israeli warplanes have also been hovering over the territory.
