Dozens of Israeli settlers on Friday morning stormed the mountains between Salfit and Ramallah in the occupied West Bank and conducted provocative tours in the area.
Eyewitnesses reported that nearly 100 settlers were seen walking from Ariel settlement towards Amouriya village north of Ramallah.
They added that some settlers were armed noting that the tours were aimed at exploring the area which is expected to witness an intensified settlement activity in the near future.
The Israeli settlers launch such tours in the West Bank mountains from time to time under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
