The women organizations assembly in Central Gaza on Tuesday held a solidarity sit-in with Occupied Jerusalem and in protest at the US recognition of the holy city as the capital of Israel.
The event was attended by hundreds of women and children. The participants carried Palestinian flags and slogans condemning the US decision and the Israeli aggression on Jerusalem.
The female activist Inam Abu Uwaymer slammed the Arab governments for not defending the sacred city and asked all competent authorities and the concerned organizations to take an efficient serious action in this regard.
