Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday afternoon shot and wounded a Palestinian youth in Beit Ummar town north of Al-Khalil City.
Activist Mohammed Awad said that IOF soldiers stationed near the illegal settlement of Karmei Tzur opened fire at the Palestinian youth Abdullah Abu Maria 21 injuring him in the thigh.
Awad said that Abu Maria was later taken to a local hospital for treatment.
