Member of Hamas’s political bureau Khalil al-Hayya has affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s persistence in suppressing the Palestinian prisoners in its jails will ignite the fire of revenge within the Palestinian people.
“The occupation seems to not understand how things work history or the fact that injuring the dignity of the prisoners would ignite the fire of vengeance within our people” Hayya said during his participation on Friday in a Gaza border rally.
The Hamas official also warned of dire consequences if Israeli jailers persisted in reneging on their pledge to remove cellphone jamming devices in prisons and refusing to respond to prisoners’ demands.
He stressed that Hamas would never forget or forsake the prisoners in Israeli jails and would keep working day and night to extract their freedom.
