Islamic Jihad secretary-general Ziyad al-Nakhala on Friday arrived in Cairo at the head of a delegation after receiving an official invitation from the Egyptian intelligence.
In a press release the Islamic Jihad Movement said that the delegation would brief the Egyptian side on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena especially with regard to the conflict with the Israeli occupation.
Earlier on Thursday Hamas chief in Gaza Yahya al-Sinwar left for Cairo to meet with Egyptian officials.
