Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has affirmed that his Movement is following Israel’s escalation campaign against the Palestinian prisoners inside its jails and in contact with the Higher Leading Committee of the Captive Movement.
In a press release on Monday Haneyya said that the leadership of Hamas would spare no effort to stop Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian prisoners and back their just rights and demands.
The Hamas official applauded the steadfastness and fortitude of the prisoners in Israeli jails and expressed confidence that the prisoners would not allow their jailers to impose on them new equations.
He pointed out that he made contacts with concerned parties to urge them to pressure Israel to end its systematic violations against the prisoners.
Haneyya also called on human rights groups to assume their role in exposing and ending Israel’s aggressive practices against the prisoners in its jails.
