Hamdi Na’san father of 4 killed by settlers after 8 years in prison

Leaving behind four children Hamdi Taleb Na’san 38 was seriously injured after Israeli settlers fired live ammunition at residents of al-Mughayir village in Ramallah on Saturday evening (26/1/2019) in an attempt to terrorize the village inhabitants.

Hamdi had spent 8 years in Israeli jails before being released. He is a father of four children.

Shock and anger
Hamdi’s relatives and loved ones who came to the hospital in Ramallah were in shock and anger shouting slogans condemning the Israeli occupation and its settlers after he was pronounced dead.

According to locals the martyr accompanied the residents of the village to confront the attack by Israeli settlers who stormed the village of al-Mughayir in Ramallah.

The village’s mosque was used to mobilize people and residents who gathered to protect their village including Hamdi. They bravely responded to the settlers and faced them by their bare chests. Several injuries were reported including Hamdi who was shot in the back.

National giving
Hamdi Na’san’s preoccupation with raising and providing for his family working as a construction worker did not prevent him from committing to the national movement by serving 8 years in Israeli jails. He was always involved in national events and demonstrations against the occupation and settlers.

The clashes broke out in the village of al-Mughayir on Saturday evening during which the villagers confronted the armed settlers who opened live fire on the people of the village wounding more than 20 Palestinians including several serious injuries.

The head of al-Mughayir village’s local council Amin Abu Alia said that settlers broke into the village and fired live bullets directly at citizens who tried to confront them. The Israeli occupation forces stormed the village later and supported the settlers by firing live and rubber-coated metal bullets sound bombs and tear gas at the villagers.

Hamdi left leaving behind a grieving family and four children The crime of killing him will serve as yet another witness to the crimes of the settlers and their ongoing terror against Palestinians.
