The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) handed over on Friday evening the body of slain Palestinian Hamdan al-Arda 60 who was killed last month by Israeli forces.
Hamdan’s body was released at Salem military checkpoint west of Jenin and received by his family members and medical crews.
The body was immediately taken to Khalil Suleiman hospital local sources said.
The funeral is scheduled to be held on Saturday afternoon the sources added.
Arda from Arraba in the West Bank was shot dead by Israeli forces during a raid of Ramallah in early December. His body has since been withheld by the occupation forces.
