Thousands of Palestinian citizens in al-Khalil Ramallah and Nablus participated in angry protests staged on Tuesday to denounce the Israeli suppression of Palestinian prisoners in Ofer jail.
The participants carried placards and pictures of prisoners and chanted slogans condemning Israel’s violations against the Palestinian detainees in its jails and expressing support for them.
According to organizers of the protests the activities in solidarity with the prisoners in Israeli jails will continue in the West Bank until their demands are met by jailers.
