Palestinian young men on Monday threw some Molotov cocktails and one explosive device at Jewish settlers’ cars in the occupied West Bank in retaliation for daily Israeli violations in their areas.
According to the Hebrew website 0404 Palestinian youths hurled five Molotov cocktails at Israeli cars near the junction of al-Khader town south of Bethlehem causing only material damage to some of them.
Local sources told Quds Press that Israel troops stormed al-Khader town and embarked on firing a hail of tear gas and stun grenades at local youths who responded by throwing stones.
Several Palestinians suffered from their exposure to tear gas and received on-site medical assistance.
In Jenin a Palestinian young man threw an explosive device at an Israeli car near the junction of Mitzpe Alon settlement. No one was injured in the attack.
Meanwhile local youths in the northern West Bank reportedly hurled stones at an Israeli car causing damage to it.
Similar stone-throwing attacks on settlers’ cars reportedly took place in other areas of the West Bank.
