Hamas Movement hailed on Wednesday Malaysia’s decision to block entry to Israeli athletes participating in a swimming competition organized in the country.
In a statement issued Wednesday member of Hamas’ political bureau Izzat al-Rishq expressed appreciation to Malaysian government and civil society over the decision that “reflects the rigid stance of the country against all forms of normalizing ties with the Israeli occupation.”
Hamas lauds Malaysia for its stance and calls on all Arab and Islamic counties to halt normalization with the Israeli occupation that is a stab in the back of the Palestinian people he said.
