The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday opened fire at a Palestinian girl near Za’tara checkpoint south of Nablus.
Local sources said that a Palestinian girl was injured after she was shot by IOF soldiers who claimed that she did not respond to their orders to stop.
The same sources said that the IOF following the incident closed Za’tara checkpoint and blocked Palestinian movement in both directions.
Several Hebrew media sources claimed that the girl was shot for attempting to stab Israeli soldiers.
They said that she suffered live bullet wounds in the lower part of her body but no further details were given on her health condition.
