Jerusalemite activists on Thursday called on Palestinian worshipers to intensify their presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday especially during dawn prayer as part of the Great Fajr Campaign.
Calls have been renewed on Jerusalemites to mobilize against the escalating Jewish settlers’ raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to thwart Israel’s Judaization attempts.
The calls come as extremist Jewish groups plan to launch massive raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque next April to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover which coincides with the third week of the Holy month of Ramadan.
Last February 3587 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed the so-called epic prostration at one of its gates.
The Great Fajr (dawn) Campaign was launched by Palestinian activists at the beginning of 2020 to protest the ongoing Judaization of Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque and Israeli settlers’ attacks on mosques in the occupied Palestinian territories.
