The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) handed over on Thursday evening the body of slain Palestinian Ammar Muflih who was shot dead by an Israeli soldier at point-blank range in Huwwara town nearly a month ago.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society affirmed that its staff received Muflih’s body after being held for 27 days in Israeli morgues.
Muflih 22 was killed after an Israeli soldier fired at him at point-blank range on the main road of Huwara town south of the West Bank city of Nablus.
According to a video that went viral a fight between the IOF soldier and the Palestinian young man was reported prior to the shooting.
Hebrew sources claimed that a stabbing attack was carried out and resulted in lightly injuring two soldiers.
Eyewitnesses denounced the Israeli claims as completely false pointing out that the IOF soldier attempted to arrest the Palestinian young man and when the youth slapped the soldier in the face he assaulted him and shot him at point-blank range.
