On its 35th founding anniversary the Hamas Movement has reiterated its adherence to the resistance option and the national constants until the achievement of liberation and return and the departure of the Israeli occupation from the Palestinian land.
“Palestine from its sea to its river is the land of the Palestinian people. We will continue to uphold every inch of our land and our legitimate right to defend and liberate it with all means especially the armed resistance as a strategic option to deter and end the occupation” Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday.
Hamas emphasized that Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque would remain at the heart of the Palestinian conflict with the occupation state adding that all the attempts to Judaize the holy city and change its landmarks would be doomed to failure.
Hamas applauded its people in Occupied Jerusalem for defending the Aqsa Mosque against desecration and Judaization.
The Movement also saluted the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and expressed its pride in their steadfastness in the face of Israeli jailers and their violations.
It described the Palestinian refugees’ right to return to the areas they were expelled from as a “sacred and inalienable right” and expressed its rejection of any plan to resettle them in alternative countries.
It called on the UN and the international community to do justice to the Palestinian people and their national cause and support their right to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
