IOA banishes Jerusalemite activist from Aqsa for another week

Tuesday 15-November-2022

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) extended on Monday an order banning Jerusalemite activist Ra’eda Sa’eid from entering the Aqsa Mosque for one week.

On October 16 Israeli police officers detained Sa’eid during her presence in the Old City of Jerusalem before releasing her later on condition of staying away from the Aqsa Mosque for four weeks.

Sa’eid is exposed to constant persecution by the Israeli police and intelligence because of her role in filming and documenting settler violations at the Aqsa Mosque.

The IOA and its police in Occupied Jerusalem give themselves the right to issue such Aqsa entry ban against Muslim worshipers and take upon themselves to decide who can and cannot pray at the Mosque despite the fact that they have no jurisdiction over the Islamic holy place.

According to signed agreements Jordan is the custodian of the Islamic and Christian holy sites in the holy city.
