A recent report published by OCHA revealed that Israel has demolished up to 8746 Palestinian-owned structures since 2009 in West Bank and Jerusalem leaving 13000 Palestinian civilians displaced.
OCHA’s report pointed out that the figures include both Palestinian structures demolished by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and the ones self-demolished by their owners under the Israeli threats.
In the West Bank the IOF demolished 7035 Palestinian owned structures since 2009 displacing up to 9000 Palestinians.
Meanwhile more than 3000 Palestinians have been displaced since 2009 in Jerusalem as Israeli troops have demolished 1711 houses in the holy city.
So far in 2022 the IOF demolished 581 Palestinian houses in the West Bank and Jerusalem according to the OCHA report.
