The Islamic Awqaf Administration in Occupied Jerusalem has said that the Aqsa Mosque still stands steadfast and resilient today despite all the Israeli attempts to Judaize it and change its Islamic identity.
“53 years after the arson attack and until today the Aqsa Mosque stands firm and solid against all the attempts to Judaize it … and change its long-standing religious historical and legal reality as an Islamic Mosque that belongs with its entire 144 dunums of land to the Muslim nation” the Islamic Awqaf said in a statement on Saturday marking the Aqsa arson anniversary.
The Islamic Awqaf also applauded the guards and employees who work at the Aqsa Mosque describing them as “loyal defenders of their Mosque.”
The Islamic Awqaf expressed its pride and appreciation for working for the Aqsa Mosque under the custodianship of Jordanian King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein “the guardian of all the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Occupied Jerusalem.”
