Hamas Movement offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to Jordan’s King government and people on the poisonous gas leak in the Kingdom’s southern port city of Aqaba that left a number of people dead and hundreds injured.
In a statement issued Monday evening Hamas offered “our condolences to the Jordanian people on this tragic incident we voice our full solidarity with them.”
“May Allah shower the victims with His mercy offer their families patience over their loss and grant the wounded a fast and full recovery” the statement reads.
Earlier Monday a leak of toxic chlorine gas at Jordan’s Red Sea port of Aqaba had killed 13 people and injured more than 250 others.
Authorities said a chemical storage container fell while being transported as a result of a crane malfunction.
